I’ll just get into the deets. Initially I started with a simple cookie recipe. I needed to make something such as cookies, but then I just started experimenting and points got weird… in a really delicious way.

I decided to not make sure they are into cookies since I used to be running around my kitchen such as a competitor in Iron Chef. They needed to be in and out of the range quick. I’m properly pleased with this decision because they are certainly still dairy dippable. 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
3/4 teaspoon sodium, plus much more for sprinkling
1 1/4 teaspoon cooking soda
3/4 cup (packed) light brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 inch skillet with parchment paper or alternatively squirt with nonstick spray. Whisk flour, sodium, cocoa powder and baking soda pop in a little bowl and reserve.
To brown your butter: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium warmth. The butter will begin to foam. Be sure you whisk consistently during this procedure. After a couple of minutes, the butter will begin to brown on the bottom of the saucepan. Continue to whisk and remove from warmth immediately as soon as the butter starts to brown and present off a nutty aroma. Immediately transfer the butter to a bowl to prevent burning. Set aside to cool for a couple minutes.
Once butter is somewhat cooled use an electric mixer to beat butter and both sugars in a large bowl until well combined, 2-3 mins. Add egg and vanilla; beat on medium-high rate until mixture is light and fluffy, 2-3 moments. Add dry substances, reduce acceleration to low, and combine just to mix. Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into cooking pan and bake for 25-30 moments or until the edges are collection and middle no more wiggles. The center will look damaged slightly. That is when you understand the cookie bars are done. Great bars for ten minutes, cut and serve warm. Sprinkle about 1/2 tsp additional sea salt at the top if desired.
Makes 12-16 bars

The bars usually takes slightly longer than 25 minutes, just be sure never to over bake them. Every range is different!
