Nevertheless that day got me considering how easy it is to roll with the drive through, occasionally just for that comfort meal… or for your childhood moment! But more than likely because your child is usually chanting and/or crying they are hungry, and oh appear (!) you see a junk food joint and well, probably you’re kinda hungry too… and that means you purchase a burger and fries. Right now your kid is usually happy but you feel guilty. It’s happened to me, and I’m not even a parent. Sometimes you can give in to what’s convenient.
I won’t rest, sometimes I really crave a little fry from McDonald’s. BUT I realize that they aren’t actually that great (sodium overload) which quite frankly, I possibly could probably cook something better tasting and better for me personally at home. And you may do it as well! In 30 minutes! Just supply the kid an apple to connect them over.

While rummaging with the pantry, I came across a container of Honey Bunches of Oats, and starting thinking to myself that they would be incredible on poultry; they’re nice, crunchy and have a somewhat nutty flavor from the almonds. Basically they are honey cornflakes! And who doesn’t want to place cereal on everything around the corner? My thoughts specifically.
I knew I wanted my chicken tenders to become extremely damp because I must say i despise dry out flavorless chicken. Therefore, I marinated my poultry in nonfat plain greek yogurt and honey. If you want to make these honey mustard flavored all you have to do is certainly all just a little dijon mustard for your marinade.
Finally, I placed several cups of the cereal into a ziploc bag, crushed them into tiny flakes, then placed my chicken in the bag and shook to coat. All I had formed to do was bake them until crispy and fantastic brown. See? Look at those perfectly cute little tenders.

Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into vertical strips
2 cups plain nonfat greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
2 1/2 mugs of Honey Bunches of Oats (either with almonds or honey roasted) cereal, crushed
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 levels F.
Rinse your poultry breasts whitening strips and pat dry with a paper towel; set aside. Add greek yogurt, honey, salt, and dijon mustard (if preferred) to a big bowl. Place chicken into bowl and toss to coat each in yogurt, cover with plastic material cover and place in fridge for 20 moments.
Following, place 1/2 of the crushed cereal within a zip loc handbag and add 1/2 from the yogurt covered chicken to the bag, shaking to coating. Remove and put on large greased cooking sheet then do it again with second half of the cereal and poultry.
Spray the poultry with cooking spray and bake for 20-25 mins or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Baking time will depend on what size or thick your poultry tenders are. Examine after 20 minutes for little tenders. These may also be made into chicken breast nuggets, just slice chicken into smaller cube like parts before marinating.
