I was thinking about providing you a recipe for hummus today, but after making these brownies I knew that I had to share them with you immediately! In fact when i ate fifty percent of the pan for supper, I’m quite sure that these brownies are some of the best I’ve ever endured.

I don’t even experience guilty about getting chocolate wasted with these bad boys.
I had found out about black bean brownies before, thus I’ve been experimenting for a few weeks with various formulas and came up with this to shock and delight you.
After baking these, I stood now there smiling with chocolate around my face because I needed finally perfected a recipe for fudgy healthy brownies that taste AMAZING. Yeah, alright I know you’re doubting me right now. You might actually think I’m very weird (which I totally am).
But is it possible to just believe me upon this one?
Seriously I made the brownies 2 hours back and there’s only one left. It’s taking most of my willpower for the brownie not saying hello to my mouth area. I’m still in awe; how do brownies made with black coffee beans and avocado be THIS freaking good?!
I even tricked my Godkids into thinking they were the homemade fudgy, buttery brownies. ONCE I told them these were made with black coffee beans, and avocado, they stared at me and explained I was lying down. I just laughed and demonstrated them the clear can of black beans.
Bake these! I promise they’ll surprise you in an exceedingly good way.
Alright. I need to devour the final one.

Place all elements besides chocolate potato chips into blender or meals processor. Process or puree until elements form a easy batter. When the batter is certainly WAY too dense and won’t process then add in a teaspoon or two of drinking water. This batter needs to be very heavy to be able to generate fudgy brownies. Add in 1/3 cup chocolates chips and flip into batter.
Pour batter into prepared skillet, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of remaining chocolate chips. You can also fold in nut products or swirl in peanut butter. Bake for 25-35 a few minutes or until blade inserted in middle comes out relatively clean and top of the brownies begin to split.
Cool skillet completely on wire rack then trim into 12 delicious squares.
TO CREATE VEGAN: Use vegan chocolate chip and sub a flax egg for the egg and egg whites.
These brownies are best after they have cooled. I in fact prefer mine cool out of the fridge – they’re amazing!
Hey Our Little Organic Existence
How much squash did you use? I was thinking or trying them with pumpkin rather (I’m going a little crazy this year )
I’m convinced that maybe it is not a food processor chip… I began looking on amazon . com to check out pictures and my unit looks a lot like this one: -Seaside-72600-Fresh-Chopper/dp/B0007KQZX4/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1359268668&sr=8-9&keywords=hamilton+seaside+food+processor
If I don’t have a food processor, is there a brand that you would recommend. I would really LOVE to have these brownies without the floating skins.
Amy Miller
Hope you are very well.
I actually tried your recipe and the brownies were amazing! One of the better that I have ever had!
I have a issue: easily wanted to make this formula vegan, what may i replace the eggs with?
Possess a happy and lovely day,
Have an excellent day,Vivi
My batch is currently in the over right now! I licked the bowl and food processor chip…..OMG you might be a classic genius!!
I can’t wait!
I have one issue for you , is the calorie count for regular brown sugar or the splenda mix???
My initial batch of the was pretty tasty, I think utilizing a riper avocado the next time will improve some things.
My main query is I’m about to start food preparation up dried dark beans instead of using canned, and didn’t know if you ever do this yourself for a few of your lovely recipes? I’ve read lots of recommendations for what flavoring to cook coffee beans in, but all are to get into dinner recipes rather than desserts. Any recommendations?
For the non-health food eaters: as healthy chocolate bars, these are good! They’re not regular brownies – if I hadn’t expected them to flavor like brownies, I think I would have been happier with the final product!
When I make them again, I will purée the beans first (my brownies have small flakes of bean skin within them) and maybe add some coconut or peanut butter. If you ask me, these flavor best when combined with another thing (e.g. placed under snow cream, topped with peanut butter)
We made these brownies tonight. They were really good. WHEN I was making them, I told my boyfriend to stay from the kitchen because I didn’t desire him to see what they’re crafted from (he’s kind of a picky eater). When I offered him a bit, he stated he would need even more – he loved it! WHEN I told him what these were made out of, he really was surprised. That didn’t stop him from keeping eating haha. Plus he stated it was a bonus for him – even more protein! So far as the uniformity of my brownies – they were not gooey/fudgy whatsoever. I utilized a banana rather than an a avocado because three food markets did not have a ripe avocado! Added even more coconut essential oil since I didn’t possess the oil from your avocado. But still not fudgy. I also used agave instead of sugar – merely to make it a tad healthier.
With all that said – do you know what it really is which makes the brownies to have that gooey/fudgy consistency??
Ps: We tried to rate the recipe nonetheless it didn’t let me select the superstars! I give it 4.5!
Excellent brownies…and a good and healthful treat toi.
Certainly a keeper !
