Chocolate Drizzled Bacon Peanut Butter Caramel Corn zero corn syrup!

I know today is supposed to become Wellness Wednesday, but I’m taking a small break before New Year. No worries – I’ll be back in a few days with a fresh WW post; I understand I’ve been aside for a while! I’m guessing most of us probably have. This year is such an excellent time to just kick up the feet, read a new book, and just enjoy family time. And basically every cookie around the corner.
That said, I’ve done my fair share of eating, taking in, and cooking. Tony’s birthday was the other day and I experienced the pleasure of earning him a version of King Arthur Flour’s deepdish pizza , after that homemade French Silk Pie for dessert. Swear to goodness, it had been the best meal I’ve ever made him. The pie was ideal. I really feel awful about not posting the formula, but it addittionally seems a little wrong to throw you a dessert filled with butter, cream and chocolate when we are all trying to eat healthful again. Next up! I also celebrated my birthday in Chicago last week. (Therefore yes, you can view how I am so busy beyond the blog.) Around the morning hours of my birthday, Tony took me to brunch after that we visited a no-kill pet shelter; per typical I wanted to collect every one of the pet cats. He also got me the cutest Michael Kors purse which I put on everywhere now. Afterwards that night, we went to dinner and then to a display. Overall, it was a really wonderful and soothing birthday.
This next week I’ll be diving back into baking and cooking. I’m wanting to shy away from too many cooking recipes, but you know it’s my favorite move to make. Overall I have some really interesting things planned and perhaps some fresh features on your blog, too!
Okay, so snacks time. This formula was apparently so wonderful that Tony ate an entire batch in one evening. YEP… ONE Evening.
We don’t blame him. I’m a HUGE fan of lovely and salty snacks. ONCE I was small my mom used to drizzled peanut butter on the top of our snacks, therefore that’s what actually inspired this formula. It’s a little like caramel corn, except much less crunchy rather than overly nice. I skipped the corn syrup and chosen honey rather; some bacon can be added to the formula because hello – peanut butter and bacon is the most magical mixture. EVER.
This popcorn will be a wonderful addition to your New Year’s appetizer table, or perhaps even for just a little Weekend night football action. In any event, I hope you love it. And undoubtedly, the chocolates drizzle is totally optional. If you want to keep it off, that’s properly fine. The popcorn is going off the chains. You can also make this a combination by incorporating pretzels and peanuts, or whatever you may get the hands on. I hope you might have a safe and sound and happy fresh year. Xoxo.

3 tablespoons honey
4 pieces prepared bacon, cooked and finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon ocean salt, plus much more to taste
For the drizzle:
Pop your popcorn with whatever technique you choose. You can use zero fat microwave snacks or air flow popped snacks. Place half of the snacks in a large bowl.
In a saucepan heat honey, brown sugar and coconut oil on medium until all of it is melted and sugar is dissolved. Add baking soda pop, vanilla and peanut butter and mix for 30 seconds or until blend is warm. Mix in bacon parts. Turn off high temperature and pour half of the caramel sauce on snacks in skillet. Add the rest of the popcorn and peanut butter caramel sauce and collapse popcorn over until it’s mostly coated with sauce.
Sprinkle sea sodium over caramel snacks and again fold more than.
Immediately remove popcorn from baking pan and spread evenly on wax paper. If you opt to do the chocolates drizzle: Place the chocolate potato chips and coconut oil inside a microwave secure dish for 20-30 seconds, stirring until chips are all melted. Drizzle melted chocolates all over caramel corn and allow to harden for 20 mins. It is possible to place the popcorn within the refrigerator for a couple minutes to help harden the delicious chocolate a bit. Popcorn is wonderful for 3-4 days stored at space temperature in a pot or plastic bag. Acts 8. About 1 cup per serving.
To make this formula vegan: Leave out bacon. Use brown rice syrup instead of honey, and make certain chocolate is vegan.
You can replace brown sugar with coconut sugar, I’m confident the results would taste similar.
